The providers listed in this directory participate in River Quest Network as of the date the directory was compiled.  New providers are added from time to time, and, occasionally, a provider may leave the network.  Do not rely solely on the provider list printed in this Directory or on the web.  You must call the Customer Service Department, (217) 222-9157 in Quincy (800) 637-7100 outside Quincy), ext. 5140 to confirm a provider’s participation.

Physicians may not participate in the networks at all locations where they practice.  If a location does not appear in this directory, the physician may not participate in the network in that location.  Be sure to call Customer Service for complete information on participation and hospital affiliation.

Some benefit plans may require you to obtain a referral from your Primary Care Physician before you visit a specialist.  Please check your enrollment material or call Customer Service to determine if you need a referral to obtain coverage.

Using the River Quest Network

The River Quest Network is owned and operated by Quincy Health Care Management, Inc. as a participating provider organization network for self-funded employer groups and fully-insured health insurance carriers.  The network consists of independent practice physicians, physicians in group practice, hospital facilities, ancillary providers, and members of PHOs (Physician Hospital Organizations), IPAs (Independent Practice Associations) and PPO (Participating Provider Organization) networks.

When confirming the network participation or affiliation of a provider, you may need to refer to one of those organizations.  For this purpose, we have compiled a listing of the provider organizations that are contracted with QHCM for services to the River Quest Network.
